AU.NU DOMAIN NAME REGISTRATION TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. This agreement has been produced and the Registrant must agree
with the Terms and Conditions before registering their AU.NU Web
Address with AU.NU.
2. The Registrant agrees to pay a registration fee (non-refundable)
of Ninty Nine Australian Dollars (AU$99) for Thirty Six (36) Months
registration of their domain name. The price may vary at times of
special offers and the like. Payment is due immediately upon of the
application. Any modifications can be preformed through the
my.au.nu Control Panel.
3. Registrant agrees that, if the registration of its domain name is
challenged by any third party, the Registrant will be responsible
and AU.NU cannot be held responsible in any way for the Registrant’s
Web Address.
4. Registrant agrees that if this Registration Agreement is
completed by an agent for the Registrant, such as an ISP or
Technical or Administrative Contact/Agent, the Registrant is
nonetheless bound as a principal by all terms and conditions.
5. Registrant agrees that the AU.NU Domain shall have no liability
to the Registrant for any loss Registrant may incur in connection
with the processing of this Registration Agreement, in connection
with the processing of any authorised modification to the domain
name’s record during the covered period, as a result of the
Registrant’s ISP’s failure to pay either the initial registration
fee or renewal fee. Registrant agrees that in no event shall the
maximum liability of the AU.NU domain under this Agreement for any
matter exceed a single year’s registration fee.
6. Registrant agrees that, by registration of a domain name, such
registration does not confer immunity from objection to either the
registration or use of the domain name.
7. AU.NU shall not be made responsible for content being hosted on
AU.NU domain names, however AU.NU do not condone the use of domain
names for the purposes of spamming, bulk email services, software
pirating or other illeagal content and will at their discretion
discontinue the services of the AU.NU Address. We will also publish
the names and contact information for any accounts terminated for
such a reason.
8. Registrant agrees that the AU.NU Domain may delete a Registrant’s
domain name if this Registration Agreement, or subsequent
modification(s) thereto, contains false or misleading information,
or conceals or omits any information the AU.NU Domain would likely
consider material to its decision to approve this Registration
Agreement. AU.NU also has the right to delete a registration if
payment is not payed by required dates.
9. AU.NU reserves the right to refuse to approve the Registration
Agreement for any Registrant. Registrant agrees that the submission
of this Registration does not obligate the AU.NU Domain to accept
this Registration Agreement. Registrant agrees that the AU.NU Domain
shall not be liable for loss or damages that may result from the
AU.NU Domain’s refusal to accept this Registration Agreement.
10. We do not warrant or guarantee that the domain name applied for
will be registered in your name or is capable of being registered by
you. Accordingly, you should take no action in respect of your
requested domain name(s) until you have been notified that your
requested domain name has been registered.
11. We accept no responsibility in respect of the use of a domain
name by you and any dispute between you and any other individual or
organisation regarding a domain name must be resolved between the
parties concerned and we will take no part in any such dispute. We
reserve the right, on our becoming aware of such a dispute, at our
sole discretion and without giving any reason, to either suspend or
cancel the domain name, and/or to make appropriate representations
to the relevant naming authority.
12. We do not warrant or guarantee that the domain name applied for
will be registered in your name or is capable of being registered by
you.
Accordingly, you should take no action in respect of your requested
domain name(s) until you have been notified that your requested
domain name has been registered.
13. We accept no responsibility in respect of the use of a domain
name by you and any dispute between you and any other individual or
organisation regarding a domain name must be resolved between the
parties concerned and we will take no part in any such dispute. We
reserve the right, on our becoming aware of such a dispute, at our
sole discretion and without giving any reason, to either suspend or
cancel the domain name, and/or to make appropriate representations
to the relevant naming authority.
